Philadelphia Botox Injection Training for Physicians

The IHHS is offering a live-patient Botox injection demonstration in our local community. Healthcare professionals and hyperhidrosis patients who live in the metro Philadelphia, PA region are invited to take part in this intensive Botox-injection training seminar. Anthony Benedetto, DO—a long-time advocate for the treatment of hyperhidrosis patients--will host this educational session in his Drexel Hill, PA office on February 4, 2010 from 4—8 pm. Registration is just $200, but keep in mind that space is extremely limited.

The IHHS is conducting this unique session in response the great demand for healthcare providers who are well qualified to treat patients who have excessive sweating. Hyperhidrosis remains a vastly under-diagnosed and under-treated disease. The condition prompts feelings of shame and isolation in sufferers and is not widely understood in the medical community.

We urge healthcare providers in the Philadelphia region who have been unable to attend our national CMEs to jump at this opportunity. This small but powerful step will ready doctors and healthcare providers to serve a population that is too often neglected.

This dynamic live-patient session will be divided into two parts: Part one will focus on the techniques for Botox injection for axillary, palmar, and craniofacial hyperhidrosis; the second half of the session will focus on the cosmetic application of Botox, particularly in the lower face. (Please note that this session is not CME/CE accredited.)

Healthcare providers in the Philadelphia region who are interested in attending this educational event, register here. All participants in this session will earn the much sought after gold star next to their names in our Physician Finder database. Patients will know that you are highly qualified to treat their excessive sweating.

Sufferers in the Philadelphia region who have axillary, craniofacial, and/or palmar focal hyperhidrosis are also invited to attend as patient volunteers. To participate, patients must be seen and evaluated by the treating physician and have all forms submitted PRIOR to the February 4th session. If you are interested in volunteering contact Evan at 215-230-4013 (select option 1) to schedule your evaluation.

Space is extremely limited, so please respond immediately. For those who are unable to attend at this time, consider attending one of our two national CMEs coming this spring to Portland, OR and Atlanta, GA.

If you are a physician interested in hosting a Botox-injection training seminar at your practice, please contact us. We look forward to conducting more of these important events in 2010.
