Physicians Licensed in Oregon and Georgia: Get "Hands-On" Training this Spring
Dermatologists and other medical professionals licensed to practice in Oregon and Georgia are invited to participate in the live-patient treatment and training portion of our 2010 CME, "Advanced Approach to Hyperhidrosis Diagnosis, Practice and Treatment." These sessions will be held in Portland, OR on April 10, 2010 and in Atlanta, GA on June 5, 2010.
Healthcare providers who attend this state-of-the-art, live-patient training seminar will receive specialized training from the foremost experts in the field, David M. Pariser, MD, the President of the American Academy of Dermatology and IHHS founding board member, and Dee Anna Glaser, MD, IHHS President and founding board member, as well as other highly regarded professionals. This program is worth 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits.
The format is a morning lecture and discussion session that is focused on hyperhidrosis basics--topical therapies, iontophoresis, Botox treatments of axillary and non axillary hyperhidrosis, and incorporating office staff into patient treatment and management.
The live-patient instruction occurs in the afternoon session. Local injector trainees will work alongside members of the expert panel, providing treatment with Botox or iontophoresis, as necessary, to their patient volunteers. The demonstrations will be done in small group settings so participants experience optimal learning.
We have arranged for excellent accommodations and discounted rates. Our meeting in Portland, OR will be held at the Hotel Monaco and at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. Parties must identify as part of the IHHS group to get these discounts and rates. Reservations for the Portland session must be made by March 26, 2010 and by May 14, 2010 for the Atlanta session.
Taking part in this intensive one-day seminar offers healthcare providers in Oregon and Georgia a rare opportunity to learn-by-doing. Participants will work directly on patients who have all types of hyperhidrosis, including those suffering from axillary, palmar and craniofacial hyperhidrosis, among other types.
Participants will also earn “the gold star” next to their names in our Physician Finder database. This patient tool identifies healthcare providers from around the world who have had expert training in hyperhidrosis diagnosis and treatments. Contact us here to learn more. Act quickly; these sessions fill up quickly and the slots for hands-on injector/trainees are extremely limited.
